Question Pattern for Reasoning Section in IBPS CLERK V Prelims Exam:

1.)   Inequality - 5 Questions

2.)  Number/Alphabetical Series or Number Set (3 digit number) - 5 Questions

3.)  Coding Decoding- 5 Questions

4.)  Seating Arrangements - 5 Questions

5.)  Linear Arrangements - 5 Questions

6.)  Miscellaneous - 10 Questions

Miscellaneous Questions includes- Ranking, Direction Sense, Blood Relations etc..

Inequality:

Inequality is one of the easiest part for most of the banking aspirants, everyone will start the Reasoning Section with Inequality and we can score easily in this type of questions.  We all knew that in IBPS CLERK Prelims there will be 5 questions from Inequality. As it is clerical level minimum (3-4) four questions will be asked directly and you can get answers easily, Person those who are familiar with understanding the logic of symbols in Inequality you can easily attends all the 5 Questions correctly.

Inequality: - 5 Marks

Number/Alphabetical Series or Number Set(3 digit number):

Based on previous year pattern there will be 5 question on Number/Alphabetical Series or Number Set (3 digit number).  Compared to Number Set it will be easier to solve if Number/Alphabetical Series is asked. But for Number Set minimum 4 questions you can solve easily as it involves simple number interchanging and rearranging concepts.

Number/Alphabetical Series or Number Set - 4 Marks

Coding Decoding:

In Coding Decoding topic, if you are familiar with English alphabet's positional numbers of (A-Z), you can easily reveal the logics for minimum 3 questions quickly which will be asked simple.

Coding Decoding: Minimum- 3 Marks

Seating Arrangements:

In Seating Arrangements topic, everyone can solve all clues, as it is clerical exam the level of clues will be mostly direct and not much complicated. But don't get struck and spent more time if you can't solve full seating. You can attend minimum 3 - 4 questions.

Seating Arrangements: Minimum- 3 or 4 Marks

Linear Arrangements:

In Linear Arrangements topic, everyone can solve all clues, as it is clerical exam the level of clues will be mostly direct and not much complicated. But don't get struck and spent more time if you can't solve full seating. You can attend minimum 3- 4 questions.

Linear Arrangements: Minimum- 3 or 4 Marks

Miscellaneous:- 10 Questions

Final part is Miscellaneous, here totally 10 questions will be asked and here we have given the possible type of questions that may be asked in the Miscellaneous questions.

·        Blood Relation- 2 or 3 questions

·        Direction Sense- 2 or 3 questions

·        Ranking-1 or 2 questions

·        Others - 3 questions

In this part, you can choose the questions based on your interest and in which topic you are strong. Here you can attend 5 to 7 questions correctly.
