OW Bunken announced that it has appointed Kasper Kristensen as Regional Manager, South East Asia, Physical Distribution.

he newly created role will further strengthen existing physical distribution operations in Singapore and Australia, as well as support the growth of the company's physical distribution network across the wider region. Kasper previously held the position of Financial Manager and will remain based in Singapore.

In Singapore, the company currently operates two bunker barges, the 6,963 DWT vessel, An Hong, and the 5,600 DWT bunker tanker Nepamora. OW Bunker also announced the launch of physical operations in Australia in March 2014. These include a leased oil tank in Port Kembla, New South Wales, and the distribution of the full range of fuel products by road tankers at the ports of Sydney, Newcastle and Eden.
