Ashley Harris, of Bismarck, has been charged with reckless endangerment and DUI with a minor in the vehicle.
Harris had a blood alcohol level of .295 an hour after she was arrested Tuesday night.
A witness told police dispatchers that Harris nearly struck a bridge driving into Bismarck and was swerving all over the road.
The reckless endangerment charge is a class C felony punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Public records do not show an attorney listed for Harris. A phone number could not be found.

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) – Officials in Williston are standing by their previous decision and forcing a 400-bed man camp to close because of city code violations.
Black Gold Lodge petitioned the city to reverse a Jan. 13 decision to shut down the facility Tuesday evening. City commissioners moved to take no action, allowing their previous vote to stand.
Black Gold came under city limits in 2013 through a land annexation. The city requires sprinkler systems and commissioners had given Black Gold until Dec. 31, 2014, to install one, but the company says contractor issues stalled the installation.
Black Gold says it’s now in compliance with city code and has spent nearly $700,000 installing the system.
Commissioner Chris Brostuen argued the situation is “pure negligence,” which the commission should not reward.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota is known for its booming oil fields, but coal mining in the state also is a healthy industry.
The state’s four lignite mines sold nearly 29 million tons of coal last year, up nearly 4 percent from 2013. The state Lignite Energy Council says all four mines last year either maintained or increased their 2013 production.
Most of the coal mined in North Dakota is used to generate electricity. Council President and CEO Jason Bohrer says the amount of coal sold last year could produce enough energy to heat every home in Bismarck for the next 100 years.
Bohrer says the industry had a great year. He cites the increased production, the startup of another coal-based power plant and investments made in existing facilities.

MILWAUKEE (AP) – Linebacker A.J. Hawk has been released by the Green Bay Packers after nine years with the team. Hawk lost playing time in the second half of last season as Green Bay tried to shore up its run defense. The 2006 first-round pick out of Ohio State recorded 1,118 tackles, the most for the franchise since 1975.
ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) – The Detroit Lions have released running back Reggie Bush, who joined the team as an unrestricted free agent from Miami in 2013, Bush started 23 of 25 games and had 299 carries for 1,303 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 94 catches for 759 yards and three touchdowns.
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) – The Inglewood City Council has approved plans to build a football stadium that includes St. Louis Rams owner Stan Kroenke (KRAHN’-kee) as a partner. The vote clears a path for a return to the Los Angeles area of the NFL for the first time in two decades. The council approved the $2 billion plan Tuesday night with a 5-0 vote after a meeting with several hours of public comment and many vocal Rams fans wearing jerseys in attendance.
The vote adopts a new redevelopment plan without calling a public vote, effectively kick-starting construction and sidestepping lengthy environmental review of issues such as noise, traffic and air pollution. It adds the 80,000-seat, 60-acre stadium to an existing 2009 plan to redevelop the former Hollywood Park racetrack site with homes, offices, stores, parks and open space and a hotel.

BAGHDAD (AP) – New video from the Islamic State group appears to show militants using sledgehammers to smash ancient artifacts in Iraq’s northern city of Mosul (MOH’-sul). The five-minute video shows a group of bearded men in a museum using hammers and drills to destroy several large statues, including one of a winged-bull Assyrian protective deity that dates back to the 9th century B.C. The extremist group has destroyed a number of shrines — including Muslim holy sites — in order to eliminate what it views as heresy.
