I have a 2011 CR-V (4WD EX-L) that has 41,000 miles. I get oil changes every 7,500 miles and replaced the air filter and cabin air filter at 35,000. Other than that....I haven't had any maintenance done. I know that there are codes that are supposed to show up, but nothing besides 1 ever has. I feel like there must be things that need to be done - but I have no idea what! I'm always hesitant to go to a dealership as I feel like they rip you off....so I've avoided them.
When I was getting my oil changed today (not at the dealership), they told me I should have a Rear Differential Service completed (they quoted $70) and an Automatic Transmission Service Exchange (they quoted $120).
Should either or both of these be done? Is there anything else that should be done? Do I need to do this at a dealership??
