Once you have mastered the basic baby hat shape, you start to understand the increacing to make the hat shape, so how bout the decreacing to make the bootees, just as easy, honetly!
Crochet Baby Hat Pattern
Hook Size: 4mm
Yarn Size: baby DK
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
dc - double crochet
sl st - slip stitch
sp - space
Start by chaining 4 and join with a sl-st to form a ring.
R1:
ch3 (this counts as your first dc of this round, same applies for all
future rounds), 9dc into ring, join with a sl st (Join all future rows
this way). (10)
R2: ch3, dc in same sp, 2dc in each sp to end - (20)
R3: ch3, 2dc in next, *1dc, 2dc in next* to end - (30)
R4: ch3, 1dc in next, 2dc in next sp, *1dc in each of the next 2 sp, 2dc in next* to end - (40)
R5-12: ch3, dc all sp to end.
Tie off and weave in ends.

DK Baby Yarn (I used Bella Yummy)
Yarn needle
Special Stitches
dc2tog – *Yo, insert hook in next st, yo
& pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 lps
on hook* x 2, yo, pull through all 3 lps
on hook.
hdc2tog – *Yo, insert hook in next st, yo
& pull up a loop* x 2, yo, pull through all
5 loops on hook.
Sole of shoe
Rnd 1. Ch 11, hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 8 ch, 3hdc in last ch
Working along opposite side of row just worked, hdc in next 8ch, 2 hdc in last ch, al st into 1st hdc ( 22 sts)
Rnd 2. Ch 2 (counts as a st here and throughout) hdc in same st as joining hdc in next 8 sts, hd
next 3 sts, hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in each of last 2 st sl st to top ofch2 (28sts)
Rnd 3. Ch 2, hdc in same st as joining, shdc in next st, hdc in next 9 sts, 2hdc in each of next 6sts, hdc in next 9 sts, 2hdc in each of last 2 sts, sl st to ch2 (38sts)
Upper Shoe
Rnd 4. Ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to ch-2 (38sts)
Rnd 5. Ch 2, hdc in next 10 sts, dc2tog 10 times, hdc in last 7 sts, sl st to ch2
Rnd6: ch2 hdc in next 10 sts, hdc2tog, 5 times, hdc in last 7 sts al st to ch2
Rnd7: (left shoe) chain 1, SC in next 17sts, work Strap :(see below)
Rnd7:(right show) Chain1, sc in next 17 sts work strap:(see below)
Fasten off and weave in ends
Strap:
Sc in next st, chain 16, scin 9th chain from hoo and each remaining 5 ch, then Sc in same st as initial sc of strap.
Attatch a button tothe side of shoe for strap.
Or for cuteness factor add in a tiny flower button:
chain 3, sl st to form a ring
*ch 1, dc, ch1, sl st* repeat **5 times to make 5 peatal flower.
