The Incumbent will be responsible to direct the Head of Programs Entrepreneurship, Head of Programs Incubation, Head of Entrepreneurship Training. The incumbent will also play an important part in the formation and growth of small businesses in Qatar by providing a one-stop source for business information, seminars, business plan reviews, current research, funding and all-important networking resources.

STRATEGIC
- Develop and apply strategies by formulating plans and several development methodologies based on the organization's vision, mission and future requirements.
- Develop and establish broad scale, long-term objectives, goals, or projects, and measure accomplishments against company objectives.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in the provision of services in the Entrepreneurship Section.
- Prepare and implement the department's plans and ensure they are within agreed budgets and timescales.
OPERATIONAL
- Design and oversee entrepreneurial programs that reflect the company's mission, vision and objectives.
- Ensure that all the programs within the entrepreneurship department are aligned to the departments strategy.
- Develop the annual department budget, expenditure control and implementing revenue-generating programs.
- Assist with the realization of marketing strategies, campaigns and products related to the department's objectives.
- Liaise with all of Qatar's main small business associations, Business Incubators and other related organizations to ensure that programs and services are complementary and efficient.
- Oversee that the department organizes and hosts events for entrepreneurs to network and market their products.
- Oversee and approve the selection of clients into to the programs provided by the Entrepreneurship Department.
- Follow up with the Heads of Programs on the impact of the programs on the attendees/clients.
- Ensure constant updates and changes happen on the programs to meet with the changing needs of the community.
- Provide consulting services to validate the business model/financial model and linking with various options of credit/finance (equity, debt, grant, collateral free loan etc.).
- Oversee and Assist the team in managing the Funding for start up enterprises and scaling up an existing enterprise.
- Provide capacity development, entrepreneurial support, value chain strengthening services into one composite framework.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Empower direct reports in improving performance driven culture, and ensure that performance standards are clearly communicated and performance evaluations are conducted consistently and transparently across the organization.
- Create and nurture and environment to attract, retain, and grow top talent to ensure readiness of talent pipeline for managing current and future business growth, by participating in Succession Planning and Talent Management
Profile
- University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management, and/ or Accounting.- 8 years + in closely related industry- 3-6 years of managerial experience- Qatari National Only
