The job incumbent handles the responsibility for:

- co-ordinate the supply chain function including inventory control, capacity planning, shop floor scheduling and the storage and transportation of finished goods, & procurement or both materials, spares & services which includes negotiation with all concerned suppliers & services.

- Develop & update Policies & Procedures for the Supply Chain & Procurement function within Company guidelines.

- Review and develop the working arrangements / methodologies of the department with a view to improving efficiency and effectiveness, in response to business needs

- Responsible for handling all customers issues from receive till delivery he is responsible to deliver targets on customer service, inventory levels and logistics costs.

- Control the RM & FG inventories to ensure DOH target is achieved while maintaining the highest level of delivery performance

- Control production planning system that meets targets on customer service and manufacturing costs and ensures efficient shop floor scheduling.

- Measure and communicate progress against Department objectives.

- Manage the relationships with third party contractors concerned with the transportation of finished goods and the freight forwarders.

-- Lead a team of supply chain colleagues including their personal development, coaching, support and training.

- Control departmental expenses to beat plan expectations.

- Achieve customer satisfaction, through achieving the highest standards of delivery performance, also effective documentation and invoicing.

- Maintain a watching brief of FG inventory to ensure adequate provision in accordance with established agreements and to avoid unnecessary production runs.

-Liaise closely with all people / stages in the chain leading to the delivery of a customer order, taking responsibility for the order from the time of order placement to final delivery.

-- Liaise with local governmental authorities and third party service providers; shipping and customs clearance agencies.

- Maintain economical and efficient transportation services for the company.

- Processing customer orders on the system.

-- Developing long-term strategic relationships with key Suppliers.

- Conduct Specific project based negotiations to achieve cost down targets & value added activities.

- Develop Local suppliers for Packaging materials, Printing Inks & Colorants.

- Ensure maintenance of parts database, in terms of cost & description.

- Ensure Maintenance of the Approved Suppliers Database.
