As the Sales Manager of the Decorative - Projects division you will drive & manage a team of B2B sales consultants to achieve the sales objectives and growth targets set by top management.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Owns, manages and Communicates Sales Team Strategy:

1. Set sales team Procedures and Strategy:
1.1 Formulates and maintains KPME Sales Standard Operating Procedures. Sets and controls basic call procedures, frequency of visits to ABC type of customers, focus of sales activities to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales force.
1.2 Formulates strategies and action plans to achieve KPME sales and margin objectives.
1.3 Makes sure KPME sales tools (marketing collateral) are updated and available to the sales team at all time.

2. Monitors sales team activity:
2.1 Collects & reviews sales visit reports of the Senior Sales consultants and Key Account Managers.
2.2 Regularly conducts sales management meetings and business reviews to assess individual sales persons needs & performance in line with KMPE financial goals and sales objectives.

3. Pricing policy:
3.1 Monitors pricing policies in order to guarantee sales development & margin target objectives
3.2 Approves special price requests to optimize profitability target

4. Guaranties satisfying service level:
4.1 Collects & if needed manages key customer complains, analyzes issues & propose corrective actions. Is proactive in helping to find solutions to fix identified issues, involves other departments &/or suppliers when necessary.
4.2 Regularly check delivery service level & take necessary actions to identify and fix any issue
4.3 Pay particular attention to key accounts
Leads and develop team performance:

5. Team management, Assessment and Appraisal:
5.1 Sets targets and reviews performance
5.2 Regularly analyze sales to have a good overview of sales development, evaluate sales persons achievements and customer’s sales achievements. Rewards good achievement.
5.3 Analyses accounts and their potential and assigns them among team members to leverage their strengths and achieve the expected sales targets.
5.4 Recommends and implements personnel movement such as promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, suspensions and/or dismissals of any member of the sales force.

6. Recruit and coach the Sales Person:
6.1 Participates actively in the selection and recruitment of new sales staff.
6.2 Based on assessments, plans and conducts required sales training programs for the sales teams to develop skills, knowledge, cultivate competence and professionalism among the sales team
6.3 Regularly accompanies sales executives to client meetings in order to assess, coach and develop their skills and performance
Additional responsibilities:

7. Inventory and raw materials forecasting:
7.1 Regularly monitors inventory and takes corrective actions to anticipate overstock or shortage situations
7.2 Prepares forecast with his team to insure proper inventory in order to avoid overstock or out of stock situations.

8. Support debt collection:
8.1 Backs up the debt collection process in order to avoid delay or defaults of payments, personally attend or request his sales person to join debtor meetings when necessary
