We’re looking to urgently hire “Facilities Manager” to join one of our companies in Facility Management Services, based in Doha - Qatar.
Main Purpose of job:
Provide the clients with Facility Management expertise. Focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs and obtain ‘value for money whilst increasing productivity through improved processes and systems.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Providing operational maintenance management to the various clients.
- Mange the start-up stages, the team, resources, equipment, and tools.
- Participate in tenders and estimations, and project pricing.
- Manage/Oversee the operation &maintenance of the building systems, structure,interiors, exteriors, and grounds,so that the facility and all of its required systems are function efficiently, reliably, safely, securely, and in a manner consistent with the local regulations and standards.
- Business Development, to attract potential clients to do business with the company.
- Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction, Follows up and resolves customer complaints (if any).
- Leading an operational& maintenance team managing hard& soft services including MEP, housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, and building fabric work.
- Managing the building assets over its entire useful life including, acquiring, installing, maintaining, operating, replacing, and recycling.
- Assessment of the Facilities needs and measurement Of the Operation &Maintenance performance.
- Working closely with Facilities end users, subcontractors. Building strong working relationships, and establishing rapport across multiple cultures, and using multiple languages.
- Leading the facility organization by providing guidance to staff and service subcontractors, by having meetings in regular basis, providing informative, precise and clear feedback to the staff and subcontractors, also by mentoring and coaching the staff on the Facilities management.
- Integrating people, place, processes and technology to serve the organization strategy. And Ability to align the facility portfolio and functionality with the organization’s missions and available resources.
- Ensures quality & safety within functions/ tasks performed by everyone in the Company.
- Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self & others in the organization.
- Responsible to comply with the applicable health & safety procedures, instructions, requirements, laws, regulations from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies.
- Responsible for reporting to the Chairman - MD occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect health, safety and company reputation.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
