Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive with 1-2 years insurance experience.

As the Business Development Executive you will be required to;

• Develop overall account strategies and direct activities for new and existing clients
• Actively developing new business and growing existing business
• Determine the optimum strategy and structure for placing a risk. Place, Monitor, supervise and guide placements on a day-to-day basis.
• As closely as possible, meeting quarterly production quota
• Identify and manage client requirements in accordance with the terms of appointment.
• Plan and co-ordinate renewal strategies.
• Achieve optimum profitability on individual client accounts
• Monitor and report development, trends and issues in the client relationship.
• Educate clients and manage client expectations through market, insurance and sector briefings.
• Set-up, co-ordinate and manage client and placement records

Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Meeting with, or surpassing as much as possible, production quotas
• Develops an insurance programme to meet the client’s needs and preferences
• Placing structure is appropriate to the insured’s operations; exposure and risk transfer goals
• Investigates and resolves complaints and service failures
• Achieves retention targets through planned and coordinated account renewal
• Identifies and develops opportunities for account development to meet the client’s requirements
