ABOUT THIS JOB

Represent products and services to the customer, interface with Operations, and provide technical sales support to customer base. Set financial and relationship goals and set stage for Baker Hughes to interface with customer(s)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and maintain sales strategies to increase sales and profits through major accounts
Manage the sales function and maintain key account information
Knowledge and experience with Open Hole Completions
Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
8+ years' industry experience in oil field services
Previous experience as Field Engineer/Field Specialist working with open hole liner hangers/completion tools
Strong negotiating skills, communication and selling skills
Ability to build strong relationships and close business
Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language
Ability to execute the integration of new technology with engineers and bring technology to the market base
Intermediate/Advance MS Office skills and abilities (primarily Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Ability to build and maintain strong mutually beneficial relationships with customers
May or may not have direct field service responsibilities but will be required to visit field sites on occasion
May be responsible for training customers and sales personnel
Handle special projects as assigned
Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services and general knowledge of products and services of other BHI divisions
Good background of Operations experience with some offshore experience preferred
