The Pepper Project is a creation of Stanley Lau. A respected and well-known name in the art community. Born and bred in Hong Kong, Stanley has more than one area of expertise: illustrator, designer, concept artist, creative director and is also the co-founder of Imaginary Friends, which is a digital art studio that produces high-quality artwork for major clients such as Capcom, DC Comics, Square Enix, etc.
A well-known figure on deviantART, Stanley Lau’s Pepper Project is one of the most distinct and recognised work on the website. Pepper is an original character created by Stanley to help him explore different art styles and ideas. Over the years it has grown to be one of the most recognised faces on deviantART, as well as other art communities. Stanley Lau keeps updating the Pepper Project, and also has the Pepper Project artbook (if you are interested in buying it).
