Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are all set to face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. SRH defeated Gujarat Lions (GL) in Qualifier 2 at Feroz Shah Kolta in Delhi on Friday. David Warner guided his team to the final, remained not-out on 93*. Warner amidst fall of wickets around him  remained calm and composed in his stay at the crease. Warner was supported by Bipul Sharma at the very end making 11-ball 27 chasing a target of 167 set by GL. Warner, has managed 779 runs in 16 IPL matches this season to be behind leading run scorer  RCB’s Virat Kohli with 919 runs in 15 games.  AB de Villiers helped RCB defeat GL in the Qualifier 1 after his side were down and out at 29 for 5. De Villiers and Iqbal Abdulla added 91 runs for the No.8 wicket chasing 159 runs. De Villiers remained not-out on 79 runs taking RCB to their 3 IPL final ever. RCB in both their finals came second best  first in 2009 to the then Deccan Chargers  and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2011. RCB would not a repeat of the 2009 final where DC a Hyderabad based franchise just edged past then by a margin of 6-runs.

In IPL 2016 both SRH and RCB have win apiece in the two they have featured together. In the first encounter RCB beat SRH by 45 runs, while in the second encounter SRH came on top winnig the match by 15 runs.
