RCB will be hoping that playing at home can influence their star opener, Chris Gayle, to get back to his high-scoring days. So far, the burly West Indian has looked in good touch but has failed to capitalise on his starts. Skipper Virat Kohli has been in surprisingly poor form, and will be looking to get some runs under his belt in this game. For KXIP, Glenn Maxwell continues to dominate the batting charts, as he showed with another 90 against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last game. RCB will be hoping to dismiss the Australian juggernaut early. George Bailey, who returned to top form as well, with a cyclonic unbeaten 13-ball 40 against Chennai, will be looking to extend his form against RCB.
