T20 World Cup is back again and here we are with the full schedule of the ICC big tournament hosted by Bangladesh. West Indies were the champions of T20 World Cup 2012 and will be defending the title this year against 15 teams in the tournament. ICC has been growing the the no. of teams participating in the T20 World Cup every series. There are few surprises this year with Nepal, HongKong and United Arab Emirates making their debut in the ICC big tournament.
The tournament which started in 2007 with India claiming the first trophy was then taken over by Pakistan in 2009 then England in 2010 and West Indies in 2012. So who is the favorites this year? With the tournament hosted in Asia will it be an Asia team conquering the T20 tournament again? Sri Lanka recently won the Asia Cup in Bangladesh can they win the T20 World Cup as well?
