Introduction:

In 2009 I decided to write a novel. Over the course of a couple weeks I knocked out the first half of The Soldier before losing interest and putting it in digital mothballs. Fast forward a couple years to 2012. It was October and, being in a Halloween mood, I decided to write a scary story in the style of HP Lovecraft. That story was The Wicker House and, much like my writing before, it got buried in my creative basement, staying there until 2014 when I dusted it back off. I felt it was pretty good and was looking for some way to get it out to the public at large, when I came across the creepypasta wikia.

Since then, I’ve been a pretty constant presence here. My main effort has been to gradually build my “Wicker Saga,” a series of standalone stories that connect to tell a larger narrative. My drive to write waxes and wanes, so most of my stories are entries in the various contests hosted on the site. This adds a bit more challenge as it forces me to jump through mental hoops to figure out how to tie a new story in with the theme of the contest as well as into my preexisting overarching narrative. I’ve got at least another couple stories to go before I hit any kind of natural ending, so here’s looking forward to future contests! In the meantime, as my user page says, “Constructive criticism welcome. Feedback appreciated.”

Featured Stories:

The Wicker House- One of my more popular stories and the one that kicked off the idea for my whole Wicker Saga. A man investigates the decades old mystery and superstitions surrounding a supposedly haunted house.

The Soldier- Easily my lengthiest story (currently ranked 36th longest on the wikia). Michael Landry left the military along with the Things he encountered there, but sometimes the past is not so easily buried.

The Lonely Stars- My most narrated story. Personal pride that notorious critic Mike Macdee commented, “Really don’t have much bad to say here…pretty terrifying and nicely written.” A lone astronaut desperately tries to regain contact with Earth after a strange event disrupts his equipment.

A Figure in the Fog- My only story to earn Pasta of the Month honors. The town of Arthur’s Wake is dying as Jamie and Lester try to help their friend Morgan battle the evil dwelling in the Wicker House.

Father's Love- Probably my favorite story that I’ve written. As his daughter slowly wastes away, a mysterious stranger offers Graydon Marx a chance to save her. But at what cost?

Shameless Self-Promotion:

Recently I’ve been writing several origin stories for narrator Unit #522 which I feel are so far turning out better than what are essentially OC stories have any right to. Also, check out my attempt at rewriting Jeff the Killer over on the spinpasta wiki!

Future projects will include more entries to the origin series as well as bringing my Wicker stories to some kind of a satisfying conclusion. Thanks to the admins for the spotlight honor!
