I think every kid old and young loves LEGO. Just put a box of it on a table and you will see that people are instantly drawn to it, want to play with it, want to create their own world.
Case in point - We just held a Magic Night fundraiser at our school and we were generously given 4 passes to LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Toronto for one of our raffle prizes. To highlight the prize, I put a pile of LEGO bricks on the raffle table and it was amazing to see that although there was a huge basket of chocolate sitting right beside them, everyone was magnetically drawn to the LEGO bricks. It seemed that not a person could go by without connecting at least two bricks.
LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto is an amazing indoor theme park. I love that it isn't weather dependent, especially in our climate. It has so many amazing attractions all packed into one space and there really is something for everyone. Here are a few of my family's favourites...
Kingdom Quest Laser Ride:
It's time to get right into the action on Kingdom Quest Laser Ride. Using your mounted laser gun you zap the dangers, hit the targets and work to rescue the princess. Here's a secret - check out the LEGOLAND mobile app for tips on how to score big.
The LEGO Factory Tour:
Here you can see how LEGO bricks are made. Better yet, you can assist factory workers at each station and build your very own LEGO brick.
LEGO Racers - Build & Test:
The best thing about LEGO is building things. At LEGOLAND you can test your building skills at the Build and Test Zone. You can then race your creations on the speed test track. Race against your friends or race against your last time. The stopwatch is precise down to the second, so even a changing one LEGO brick could make all the difference!
LEGO 4D Cinema:
Ride along with your favourite LEGO heroes in the LEGO 4D Cinema! You will get right into the action as flurries of wind, rain, lightning and even snow burst into the auditorium!
