As many of you know, I am getting married! We just got to celebrate with our friends and family recently for our Jack & Jill. We opted for this instead of your typical bridal shower and stag simply so we could all celebrate together! My friends all gathered together and helped so much by decorating and by donating raffle prizes! I think we all had an amazing time! There was plenty of food and drinks, bounce house for the kids, a huge snake and the night ended with an amazing aerial show of a fighter pilot and of course some fireworks We are so thankful to have some amazing people in our lives for supporting us and as a thank you to all of my fans for your kind wishes, I want to give away a $50 gift card! The gift card is for a dinner and movie date (valued at $50) so you can have a date night with the love of your life and celebrate the love you share. Whether it is your significant other or simply a great friend, I want to send you on a date! But first, I want to tell you about my special day before sending you off on yours ♥

My Jack & Jill was held at the Torrington Fish & Game which has absolutely breathtaking views of Litchfield County. True Value of Litchfield was nice enough to give us a great deal on a bouncy house which I do not know who enjoyed it more, the kids or the adults (BTW, they literally had the cheapest rental rates to begin with and we searched the state!)

~Joan- the Pumpkin Roll Lady went all out! Not only did she make me the coolest Red Neck cake ever, but she took care of my entire dessert table! From pumpkin rolls, to the famous peanutty cookies, tiramisu cups, pudding cups, candies, you name it, she had it on the table!

You cannot tell me that this isnt the coolest cake you have ever seen?!

My array of desserts.

Joan and Janice hard at work putting the dessert table together!

We also were fortunate to have raffle galore! We could have never done it without the help of some amazing small businesses!

~Wolf Central out of Southington donated a basket filled with wolf beer, coffee and so much more! My family and i were lucky enough to actually get down to the middle school to see the real wolves and pet them! Meeting wolves is pretty cool and if you want to learn how you can meet them too, just go to their website: http://wolfcentral.org/

~PammyTail made an amazing coupon bracelet and key chain and can I just tell you that the person who won it was nice enough to give it to me! I have the keychain on my wristlet that I take with me everywhere! And, her bracelets are hand made and great quality! Beside the fact that they are also super affordable! One day, I will have an entire arm full of them! Ha! Some of my favorite bracelets of all time!

~Entertaining Styles By Sandra hand painted a gorgeous set of wine glasses to be raffled off. I could not even believe that someone could paint so well! The dragon flies were absolutely stunning!

~CnT Entertainment- The show stopper of the night was the DJs. Wow. Just Wow. I cannot tell you how many events I have been to and the DJ just plain sucked. They sit there and play music and don’t really interact with people or get the crowd moving! These guys are something to be experienced! So good in fact that they are doing my wedding too! The boys fit in like they were family, were outgoing and kept the party going! Everyone loved them and I think they actually became our friends before the night was through! Not too bad to look at either! HA!

~The Party Buzz was in charge of just about everything! She took care of all my decorations, balloons, signs, table cloths and so many other little details that I would have never even thought of! I cannot tell you how nice it is to have such a huge weight lifted off your shoulders while you are planning and stressing over everything working out. Holly took care of every little detail for me and made sure everything went smoothly! I had used her a few months prior to take care of my daughters birthday and it was beyond my wildest dreams so it was only fitting I continue to use her for every event! She is also fully in charge of my entire wedding. And i mean entire. she is taking care of the cards, name tags, place settings, guest book, flowers, centerpieces, invitations, programs, and there is so much more but thank god she is in control of it because I wouldn’t even know where to begin! She even surprised me with a homemade veil especially for my Jack & Jill! I wish I had actually gotten better pictures because what she had set up truly transformed the space!

Isn’t my veil the coolest thing ever?!

~Mel Gaynor from Tastefully Simple was also nice enough to send along a nice donation basket filled with Tastefully Simple goodies! I was wishing we could have actually used it so I could have eaten it all but I am sure it went to a good home!

~Johnna Cowan from Wildtree donated a beautiful martini basket filled with products from Wildtree. All GMO free!

~Tea Shared also donated a beautiful basket of assorted teas and accessories to go along with it!

~Heather Schibi from Thirty One bags also donated a large bag that I filled with stuff from my stockpile! Let me tell you the amount of stuff that can be fit in to there! I was able to stuff just about one of every item I sotckpile in to that bag and it still didnt break. I own the wristlet, the travel bag, and I had to get myself my very own utility tote too! I am officaly 31 obsessed and I think that everyone else should too! My friends all have these fancy Coach wristlets and when they saw my 31 wristlet, they couldn’t believe the amount of stuff I could fit in it! Be jealous! Very jealous! You can order one for yourself HERE

~PartyLite- My regular candle lady as I call her (and you can always tell she is MINE by the beautioful “Candle Lady” headband she wears around was also nice enough to donate a bunch of PartyLite stuff. For those of you who don’t know, these are some of the best candles ever! My absolute favorite is the votives. They are like 2 candles in 1! They can be a votive or you can remove the wick and it is a tart! How clever But, you need to see her for all of your candle needs and you can find her on her website HERE

~Laura Purdy from Fibi & Clo and Tastefully Simple- Shoes! Thats all I need to say women! Who doesn’t LOVE shoes! Cutest. Sandals. Ever. I didnt want to raffle them off! I really didn’t. And of course the biggest tease is that the pair Laura donated to me was my size! Ahhh!! So, whoever won those, know that I will be forever jealous of you! The sandals are super cute and really inexpensive too! Which means you can just buy more! Ha! And Laura is a jack of all trades. Not only does she sell Fibi and Clo but she also does Tastefully Simple too! Double to food, double the pleasure right? Well, this girl loves food so I cannot turn 2 donations of Tastefully Simple and trust me, the raffles were super popular so I know you love Tastefully Simple too!

So, please help me thank all of these wonderful small business owners who stepped up for me (another small business owner) to help me celebrate my wedding! Remember this holiday season to support your neighbor, your friend or just the lady down the street working hard to provide for their families ♥
