Last weekend MMA fans watched the highly anticipated UFC 200 blockbuster card take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It was touted as the greatest card in history… And on paper, it probably was.

After five years out of MMA, the return of one of the biggest stars in UFC history, Brock Lesnar, would lock horns with Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt.

Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar would battle it out for the UFC featherweight interim title, and more importantly, the right to fight Conor McGregor.

Throw in the mix Miesha Tate defending her UFC bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes, UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier in a fight against the greatest ever, Anderson Silva, and let’s not forget, former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez taking on Ronda Rousey’s boyfriend, Travis Browne.

But as promising as the card was, fans were left full of disappointment.

A lack of finishes, an abundance of fan-unfriendly wrestling and an overall feeling of “meh” rounded out what was a “good” but not “great” night.

Main event bout between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes for the UFC bantamweight title was the fight which ALMOST saved the card. Nunes stunned the champ with a brutal onslaught, breaking her nose before quickly submitting her.

But although the final fight was by far the most exciting fight of the card, thousands of Australian fans were left absolutely filthy, as a broadcasting issue prevented fans from watching the fight.

The fight cut out halfway through the first round, with fans able to hear Joe Rogan describing what could not be witnessed.

The technical glitch was a disastrous anti climax for thousands of Aussie fans, who, rather than watching the card-saving fight, instead looked at a picture of the Fox panel awkwardly looking at their notes.
