It seems that Maxine Medina, our candidate for the most prestigious beauty pageant, is not backing out--not even after critics and fellow Filipinos have bashed her for recent string of fails.
The Filipina beauty slayed her national costume on Thursday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, where 86 candidates flaunted their various national costumes, evening gowns, and swimsuits.
Maxine earned loud cheers when she arrived, wearing a costume inspired by the Vinta, Mindanao's traditional boat. Her stunning dress was paired with a coral reef headdress. The south sea pearls which accented the costume reportedly costs more than 1 million pesos--can you imagine that?!
