Earlier this week, AMD introduced next generation PRO series APUs for business desktop and notebook PCs. Codenamed "Godavari PRO" and "Carrizo PRO", these Accelerated units have all of the features of consumer desktop and mobile products, with an added benefit of business-class quality assurance, longer product longevity and extended warranty support. AMD also offers PRO-oriented management software that simplifies common IT tasks, such as configuring USB blocking options, managing internet bandwidth priorities, and scheduling some system activities.
