While Kirk Cousins’ Franchise Tag dominated the week, the Redskins made other news. Of note, was Ricky Jean-Francois and some eloquent and timely words for both sides of the divide. ESPN finally, FINALLY gets one right! My view on why Washington and not Dallas is the class of the East, and my guy Su’a is one confident cat; you’ll soon see why.

Washington wants to make sure 2015 wasn’t a fluke. They want to know that Kirk Cousins is worth a long term deal, and that he’s the quarterback for 2016, and years to come. But as of Friday, they’d both like the audition to roll on in 2016. – cover32

When looking at the end game that will be the NFC East in 2016, look to the nation’s capital, not The Metroplex that houses more ego, than talent. The Redskins are positioned for not just a playoff run, but a deep one. The darlings of the national media, the Dallas Cowboys, are a team who will once again be on the outside looking in. – cover32

As a Pac-12 guy who lives in the Southwest, I had plenty of opportunities to watch Su’a Cravens. Also, I’m a huge USC fan, so not watching was never an option. I know this, Washington Redskins fans will love him, as I came to watching him play at Southern Cal. – cover32

On more than one occasion, I’ve voiced my opinion about athletes who open up about social issues that can, and do display little depth on an issue, or the abject hypocrisy of their argument or 140 word tweet. Redskins player Ricky Jean-Francois is an example of someone who displays remarkable sincerity in his frank assessment of a world gone mad. – cover32

For weeks now, and as recently as this week, I have been saying how the Washington Redskins have not just turned the corner, but have moved to the top spot in the NFC East. And now, NOW, the geniuses at the Worldwide Leader have finally gotten what Redskins fans have known for some time now. – cover32

This week, finally closes the chapter on Deflategate. I’d like to see it begin to close the chapter on Roger Goodell. – cover32
