January has the best deals on holiday-related items with markdowns at 50% to 75%—sometimes 90%—off of everything from wrapping paper to decorations. Also, fresh blueberries at this time too, is on sale for $1 to $2 less, thanks to it being summer in South America. (and BOGO at some shops such as Publix)

April Showers brings May Flowers! And this is the month of Easter and start of spring. Chocolate, jelly beans, and other candy is priced incredibly low, so grab it while you can. After Easter ends, the sale begins, stock up on Easter baskets for next year or for fun summer / spring projects ~ Also this is the time eggs will go on sale .. this year I paid $0.29 for a dozen of eggs with a sale +target coupon +Target cartwheel stack.

May starts Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day and ends with Memorial Day—a weekend that’s become a shopping sales bonanza.  After the major holiday’s, you will see awesome sales — also , check the clearance section at places such as Kroger — once the holiday ends ,awesome sale prices start (including Graduation !!!! I got napkins for $0.79 and paper plates with ‘Graduation on them’ for $0.89. Grandma said, always keep a stack of paper plates in the house! You never know when you need them!

June is here. Summer is here.. time to holiday in the sun… AND there are great sales on veggies and fruits this month ! The cost of cherries and blueberries usually is on sale for about $2 a pound. With Father’s Day mid-month, ties are typically 50% off. It’s also National Dairy month where you’ll see rarely discounted items like milk for approx. $1.84.

August is back to school sales (and for Georgia, school starts, as early as August 1st!!!) I love back-to-school sales, even as a kid, this was my favorite time. School is back in session. Labor Day Sales as well as clothes from summer and spring are on sale and on clearance (I paid $0.99 – $1.99) for my sons shorts at Sears once! Stocked up for the next few years!)—This month, most stores are ready to stock up on holiday items and get rid of what’s currently on the shelves. And good time to stock up on school supplies as those are on discount.

November is my favorite month because it is my birthday month! Also, this is the time the retail world is has awesome holiday sales in November, and the main feature is Black Friday. And don’t forget AWESOME deals on what’s left of Halloween costumes, decorations, and candy.
