Reminder: Comcast FREE Community Party (Provo) – February 7 – where XFINITY will host a Free 2014 Winter Games Opening Ceremony party from 7 – 10 pm at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo. To make the event extra special for families, speed skating medalists, Derek Parra and Chad Hedrick will address the crowd, sign autographs and pose for photos. The event is free and will include treats, activities, games and prizes.
Reminder: Discovery Gateway Olympic Inspiration Day - Saturday, February 8 from 12 – 4 pm. Join local Olympic Athletes during a meet and greet featuring paralympian medalist Muffy Davis, Olympic Gold Medalist Freestyle Skier Nikki Stone, 3-time Olympic Freestyle Skier Tracy Evans and Bobsled Silver Medalist Valerie Fleming. Create Olympic torches, helmet and ski logos, and participate in an obstacle course to receive a medal. Regular admission applies.
