Winter Palooza Saturday, January 25 from 10 am to 8 pm at South Towne Expo Center. This annual event, hosted by The Utah Kids Club, provides tons of family fun and is something the kids look forward to every year. Admission for ages 2 and up is $8.00 at the door, but you can get a Winter Palooza coupon for $2.00 by purchasing your tickets in advance go here for more details.
Winterfest 2014 (Logan) – January 21-25 at Cache Valley & Logan Canyon. Whether you want to participate or just watch, whether you like vigorous outdoor activities or perusing a gallery exhibit, you will find winter adventure in northern Utah. Some events are free, some charge, some are discounted.
Fat Bike Summit (Ogden) – January 24-25 at Mt. Ogden Golf Course. The Expo will feature Fat Bike demos, scheduled free activities and plenty of snow fun to be had. The event is free there is a registration fee for races.
Snowbird Winter Family Flicks – Free family flicks every Friday evening at 7 pm in The Atrium Restaurant thru March 28. This weeks film is Filed of Dreams.
Free Ice Skating (Logan) – Friday January 24 at 4 pm at Merlin Olsen Central Park. Admission is free, skate rental is $3.
Community Emergency Preparedness Fair – Saturday, January 25 from 9 -5 at Early Light Academy (11709 S Vadania Dr, South Jordan). Features a variety of speakers, classes and activities to help everyone learn more about how to be ready for the worst-case scenario. Admission is Free.
Discovery Gateway – is offering their $5 Fun Days. Get $5 admission per person for up to 4 people after 5 pm on Fridays & Saturdays and all day Sundays. Expires the end of January.
MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in January at BYU Museum of Art – Monika Bravo: Landscape of Belief. On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.
