Fairs & Festivals:

Urban Arts Festival – Saturday, July 20 from 11am – 8pm at the Gateway (18 N Rio Grande Street) – There will be urban artists, three music and performance stages, film festival, fashion show and a skate competition.

Draper Days – July 12-20. Featuring a car show, parade, breakfast, concerts, movie in the park, petting zoo, rodeo, fireworks and more.

Folk & Bluegrass Festival – Saturday, July 20 at Gallivan Center (239 S Main St). Featuring some of the greatest local, regional and national folk and bluegrass artists, with music influenced by everything from old-school western to rock This is a FREE Event.

Kamas Fiesta Days – July 19-27. Activities include: Demolition Derby, Bull Wars, Rodeo, Kids Night, Booths, Dutch_oven Cook-off and more.

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo - July 20-24. Ticket prices range from $6-17.

Uintah County Fair (Vernal) – July 19-27 – there will be classic car show, carnival, demolition derby, and more.

Pioneer Events for this weekend:

Ogden Pioneer Days – July 5-24 there will be a parade at 9am along with events, entertainment, rodeo and fireworks.

Spanish Fork – July 12-27 – a 10K race along with a grand parade, entertainment, carnival, rodeo, fireworks and more.

Tremonton – July 19 – 24 there will be a movie in the park, breakfast, food, rides, fireworks and more.

MX Pioneer Extravaganza – July 19 enjoy an MX show and amazing fireworks. Cost is $12.

Days of 47 Rodeo – July 19-24; July 24 will be the finals night at the Rodeo. Ticket prices start at $14 not including convenience fees. Go here for details on discount tickets.

Pioneer Day Concert – July 19 & 20 at 8pm at the LDS Conference Center – Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra will perform. Tickets are free, but are required, those interested may register on the Internet at www.lds.org/events for the opportunity to receive tickets. Patrons are invited to stand by for last-minute seating on the evenings of July 19 and 20, 2013. The standby line will form at the North Gate on Temple Square at 6 p.m.

REAL Salt Lake – July 20 will take on Sporting KC and include Pioneer Day fireworks. Go here for ticket info.

First Encampment Hike – July 20 at 7am at Donner Park (2770 E 990 S). During this family-oriented event, you can walk in the footsteps of the 1847 pioneers in a festive and commemorative hike that follows Emigration Creek through beautiful Salt Lake City neighborhoods.

Youth Parade – July 20 at 10am, route starts at 600 E and 500 S, runs west on 500 S to 200 E and ends at the City and County Building.

Family Festival – July 20 at 10am-2pm following the Youth Parade at Washington Square (200 E 450 S). This is a free event with inflatable slides, games, bouncers, rides, not to mention the Wild West Area where they can meet cowboys and clowns from the Rodeo.

Downtown Provo’s Rooftop Concert Series – Enjoy a FREE concert Friday nights on top of the Central Bank parking terrace (100 W 100 N, Provo).

Canyons Concerts – Canyons will have FREE Saturday Summer Concerts from July 20 – August 21 starting at 6pm.

FREE Oquirrh Mountain Symphony - Friday, July 19 at 8pm at South Jordan City Hall (1600 W Towne Center Dr.).

The Homestead & Zermatt Summer Concerts & Cowboy Campfires: During the Summer each Friday and Saturday at 8:30pm, there will be FREE Cowboy Campfires. They are also holding FREE Summer Concerts throughout the Summer.

Western Day (Park City) – Saturday, July 20 from 12pm – 4 pm at Utah Olympic Park (3419 Olympic Parkway). Enjoy an afternoon of BBQ, live music, face painting, bounce houses, mechanical bull and more. This is a free event and the first 100 guests to arrive will receive a Free cowboy hat.

The Sandlot is celebrating their 20th Anniversary Saturday, July 20 with a FREE event – at the original Sandlot in Glendale Park.  Event starts at 2pm with live music, carnival, food games and fun. There will also be cast autograph signings and a Screening of Sandlot at 9:30pm (the screening does require passes that were previously distributed).

MOA Family Workshops (Provo) – Saturdays in July at BYU Museum of Art – Royal Nebeker: An Artist’s Journey.  On any one Saturday of their choice families can take a guided tour of a current exhibition and create a fun, hands-on art project, free of charge.

Megaplex Theaters have started selling tickets for their Kids Summer Movies Series. Pay $12 for 12 classic PG rated family films over 12 weeks. Summer Movies begin the last week in May and can now be purchased at Guest Services.

You’ll want to get your pass right away! Cinemark: $5 Series punch cards are limited and are now available only at the theatre box office while supplies last.
