Old Key West Resort at Walt Disney World is a Disney Vacation Club Resort. Every room on property is either a studio, one or two bedroom villa. They also have a few grand villas. You do not have to be a Disney Vacation Club member to stay here, you will pay a lot more for your room if you aren’t. Non-members can rent points from existing DVC members from David’s Vacation Club.
Old Key West is themed to resemble the turn-of-the-century island of Key West, Florida. The community is called Conch Flats – a sprawling island hamlet with shimmering waterways, swaying palm trees and manicured golf-course fairways.
Old Key West was the first DVC resort. Built in 1991, it is home to bigger rooms than the newer resorts.

Studio – 390 square feet
One-Bedroom –942 square feet
Two bedroom – 1395 square feet
Grand Villa – 2375 square feet
Sleeps: 4 plus an infant under 3 in both studios and one bedroom villa.
8 plus an infant under 3 can sleep in a two bedroom villa.
12 plus an infant under 3 can sleep in the Grand Villa.

Room features: Varies on the size of the villa you book. All villas have ceiling fans, coffee maker, microwave, wall safe and iron and ironing board.
Studios – Sleeps 4 on a queen-size bed and full-size sofa sleeper. It includes a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
One-Bedroom Villa – Master suite with king size bed, living room with full size sofa sleeper, fully equipped kitchen, whirlpool tub, washer and dryer and television with DVD player.
Two-Bedroom Villa – Master suite with king size bed, second bedroom with two queen size beds, living room with full size sofa sleeper, fully equipped kitchen, whirlpool tub, washer and dryer and television with DVD player.
Grand Villa – Located on two floors, the first floor has a master bedroom with king size bed and whirlpool tub, queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room that seats 12 and laundry room. The upstairs has 2 additional bedrooms that each have 2 squeeze size beds.
Buildings:
The buildings of Old Key West are built around Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. You can request a view of the fairways or you can request to be near the canal, near transportation or near other areas of the resort.
Food options:
Olivia’s – Table Service Restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers seating both inside and outdoors. It serves island-inspired dishes.
Good’s Food to Go – This Quick-Service Restaurant has 2 separate locations in Old Key West. One can be found across from the main pool area on Turtle Krawl. The other can be found at Turtle Shack near Turtle Pond Road. Both locations offer covered seating or you can take the food back to your room.
The Gurgling Suitcase – Located along the pier on Turtle Krawl, this lounge offers spirits and cocktails. There is limited seating. It is open from 11:30 AM until midnight daily.
Pools:
The main pool is located near Hospitality House. It features a sandcastle waterslide and a dry sauna at the base of a lighthouse. It also has a whirlpool spa and a sand beach. There is also a kiddie pool for little ones.
There are 3 quiet pools located in Old Turtle Pond, South Point and Miller’s Road sections.

Keep in mind that mousekeeping does a trash and towel service on the fourth day of your stay if you are staying 7 nights. If you are staying 8 or more nights, you get a full cleaning on the fourth day and towel and trash service on the 8th day.
