I received sample products to facilitate this review. But my opinion on Brownie Brittle is 100% mine and it’s 100% addictive!

So for months, (maybe even a couple of years), I’ve heard fellow bloggers talk about Brownie Brittle and how incredible it is. They said it was awesome. They said it was addictive. They said they would eat an entire bag driving from the store to home.

Okay, come on. It can’t be that good, right? When I think ‘brittle’, I’m thinking peanut brittle. So I couldn’t wrap my mind around what brownies had to do with that. I really had no idea what to expect. And then the Brownie Brittle people sent me 4 bags. Oh. My. Word.

I opened the bag (and keep in mind that I’m not a person who’s super in love with sweets…not a chocoholic) and drew out the first piece and popped it in my mouth. Mmmm…this is good. I grabbed another piece. No kidding – half the bag disappeared. It was the first time EVER that I literally had to take a snack and move it away from my computer into the kitchen. Yes. It’s that good.

So here’s what it’s like: you know the crunchy, crispy edges of the brownies you make at home? THAT is Brownie Brittle! It’s like a crunchy cookie, only it tastes like yummy brownies.

We tried the salted caramel, the chocolate chip, the toffee, and I’m reserving the chocolate mint to share with family. Maybe.

About Brownie Brittle:

In 1992, Sheila G. Mains, better known in the food business as Sheila G, took a treasured family recipe for fudge brownies and baked her way into a thriving business. You may even have tasted one of her rich, dense squares of heaven at some of our nation’s finest restaurants and theme parks. So, where exactly did the inspiration for her scrumptious new Brownie Brittle™ snack come from?

Like many brownie aficionados, Sheila is particularly fond of the crispy edges. In fact, on many an afternoon she would walk through the bakery gathering the crispy batter off the sides of the sheet pans as the chocolate brownies cooled in their racks. It had that same rich chocolate taste, but with an amazing crunch. That started her wondering: How could she create a whole pan of crunchy edges? Well, lucky for us, she figured it out! Now you too can satisfy your sweet tooth in a snap with Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle™ snacks!
