The Urban Heaths Partnership is hosted by Dorset County Council, made up of 14 organisations including local authorities, nature conservation organisations and the police and fire services working to mitigate pressures from urban development upon heathland sites across south east Dorset. The Education Officer works as part of a small multi-discipline team, delivering an education programme raising awareness of the heathland habitat and the pressures on sites arising from their use and misuse.
