Sometimes I think about how much of a natural born leader Anna is.

Like the way she effortlessly took control after Elsa ran away at the Coronation Ball. “Bring me my horse! Please,” she demands firmly but evenly, “I leave Prince Hans in charge.” Without even knowing it, she’s confident and…

Oooh, I like this! And yes, 100% agree. Tags and all.

If she and Elsa could co-rule - Anna the voice of reason and authority in times of uncertainty, Elsa the level head in peace - they could be unstoppable.

Actually I strongly suspect that that’s exactly what will end up happening, since Elsa’s relationship with Anna is SO strong, Anna has no designs of her own upon the throne, and, simply put, Anna’s no dummy. Although Arendelle’s governmental structure hasn’t been very well outlined, I can’t see Elsa not relying on Anna’s input, and also that of Kristoff as the voice of the “common man”. And as long as Elsa doesn’t have a consort, Anna will perfectly fill the role of the popular, outgoing representative of the crown amongst the people.

I think after the shakiest possible start, the two sisters’ government is very promising…

Headcanon that I will implement is very similar to this…

Anna is the envoy, both inside and outside the kingdom, the “face” of the monarchy. (After some serious training in diplomacy and perhaps a little REtraining in the etiquette lessons she slept through. ;) ) Then she gets to be out and about, to travel, and to use her considerable people skills to better her sister’s kingdom. And she IS the heir now - she will need to know how to handle these things.

I see Kristoff as actually taking on a larger role in trade. He won’t take any shit from anyone, and he’d be a good liaison with workers, like he had been himself - he understands their needs and their wants and their way of thinking. He could act as a go-between between the kingdom’s interests and the needs of merchant/working classes. And eventually, Elsa might even put him out there for higher-level trade negotiations, though he’d probably gripe about it - because again, the take-no-shit attitude could come in handy. But he, too, might need a little training - soften up some of those edges.

Basically, Elsa will keep both of them WELL occupied. Keep ‘em out of trouble and out of her hair!
