Musetic is new a virtual museum that aims to become a unique promotion platform for all forms of art. We have three priorities, uncovering quality art (in all forms), artist support, and community engagement. After months of planning, we’ve recently launched our beta website, and are looking to start working toward our second stage. To do so, we need a magnificent web designer with enough experience to be dangerous, but enough humility to learn.

Position Summary:

We are perusing the globe for a Web Design Intern self-starter/manager who wakes up in the morning and says “I’m going to learn a new language today”. This person is willing and able to help small, and growing, creative endeavor into a place the world can’t believe didn’t exist before. We are looking for an energetic intern who can work a flexible schedule of 15 hours a week. We are willing to work with any level college student, or a high-school student with at least one year of hobby experience in web design. We are open to telecommuters.

Responsibilities & Requirements (not limited to):

– Will work with Creative Director to develop Musetic’s second stage website.
– Proficiency with Web Development languages such as Ruby/Rails or Python/Django.
– Tenacious problem-solver. Will hunt down bugs and errors like a boss.
– Weekly web/creative brain-storms with Creative Director
– MUST have a portfolio or design samples
– Must have a proven ability to demonstrate patience, flexibility, energy, independence, creativity, thirst for growth, and self-motivation.
