MySatori’s turnkey content conversion services help K-12 publishers leverage all of their existing and new print titles into a full line of digital products. Our proprietary process quickly converts any print title into an interactive digital title that students can access directly using a computer or tablet.

The MySatori implementation is a modern HTML5 web app that requires modern browsers. This means we only have a few HTML pages and use Dojo, jQuery and Javascript to make it look like a “thick client” native app, ie, all of the functionality is built into a few key HTML pages.

The server side is very lean using only CounchDB and Node.js for reports. This means both the client and server side speak Javascript and JSON.

This position starts with tech support and QA testing, but it is an opportunity for an unproven programmer to evolve into a full time coding position as skills improve over time and are proven by committing code to the MySatori project.

Primary Responsibilities:
– Provide Technical Support to customers
– QA and regression testing of MySatori (Selenium scripting experience a plus)
– Work with our team to enhance the MySatori platform by coding new features, fixes, and performance enhancements. Coding assignments will initially be simple and correspond to abilities which should improve over time.

Some experience with the following is desirable but not required:
– Selenium
– Java
– Javascript
– HTML5
– CSS
– Dojo Toolkit
– jQuery
– CouchDB (or similar JSON document store like MongoDB)
– Node.js
– Telecommuting experience a plus with any continental US time zone acceptable.
