Looking for hire a highly skilled SQL Database Developer with 3-5 years experience with MS SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise (newer versions are also acceptable), database design, and normalized databases. This role will work with several business units to help design, develop, deploy and maintain the internal custom database application for multiple clients.
Must have experience with database infrastructure including database security, replication, stored procedures, configuration and management toolsets, triggers and backup/restore strategies.
Background with database web integration including HTML, PHP, ASP or JSP, VB.NET, and/or C# .NET is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Work with project managers, key stakeholders, vendors and internal cross-functional teams to develop, maintain and enhance our custom SQL database application based on documented functional and non-functional requirements.
Implement/code back-end SQL functionality per requirement specifications
Analyze, design, test and document all development features related to our custom client database
Create tables, views, complex stored procedures, and triggers
Ensure consistent data integrity, reliability and availability
Design and program highly complex custom reports using SQL reporting services
Physical database design, architecture, security and performance of custom database application.
Enhance existing custom database application in an ever-changing environment
Other projects/duties as assigned by the Manager, Application Development
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Management or equivalent experience
3-5 years working with relational databases
2+ years working with .NET and database integration
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Access and Excel
Advanced Transact-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS skills
Extensive experience designing and creating reports using SQL reporting services
Ability to thrive and produce business in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
Strong team player who interacts well with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders
Skills: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, Microsoft Excel, Access Database, reporting, database security, replication, configuration management, stored procedures, triggers, backup/restore strategies, mass scalability.
