Blue Line Talent is seeking a senior/lead level RSA Archer Consultant for this addition to staff with our client, a start-up in information security consulting services firm. This is a great role for a seasoned consultative professional with RSA Archer expertise. This position is a contract to hire, an addition due to growth.

Position Title : Sr/Lead Consultant – RSA Archer, Information Security

About the Clien t:
• Start-up, privately owned, information security consulting firm
• Expertise in Information Security, IT Compliance, IT Internal Audit, ISO27001, RSA Archer, Security and CISO
Location : Consulting opportunities exist in Washington DC, VA, MN, MA, NY, MN, NC, and TX, etc.

Position Details :
• Facilitate client solutions in Security, Audit, Compliance, and Risk Managements
• Guide clients in design and implementation of Information Security, Compliance, and Risk Management programs
Positon Details :
• Lead RSA Archer implementation and team of 4-6 developers and consulting teams
• Interface with client’s executive leadership
• Navigate change review boards
• Create and manage project plans, track project status and deliverables, manage milestones, manage budget, and escalate issues accordingly
• Lead requirements gathering meetings, implement a functional requirements methodology, document functional requirements for all RSA Archer modules
• Baseline the current business functional or technical architecture, including issues, gaps, and strategic requirements
• Define, recommend, and update business functional of technical architectures and update roadmaps, timelines and resources accordingly
• Create short, medium, and long term strategic roadmap for Information Security services in complex corporate environments
• Identify and translate security or compliance requirements
• Identify and translate best practices to network infrastructure, applications and operating systems, and infrastructure management, etc.
• Develop, test, prototype production releases following robust changes and release management process
• Develop, conduct and host training for new users on new capabilities, refresher training for existing users
• Guide the use of external solutions when RSA Archer cannot meet all needs, especially in the area of analytics and management of large data sources
• Oversee existing and new data feeds going into and leaving RSA Archer, and take responsibility for the data as well as the transit mechanisms
• Plan for upgrades and patching across testing and production environments of RSA Archer platform
• Produce reports for both admins, line managers and executive audiences
• Interpret legal, compliance, and privacy impacts on the RSA Archer tool and data, provide advice on controls and safeguards for data per requirements
• Respond to ad hoc requests for data from the tool, and provide trending and key data in response to leadership’s needs
Experience Profile :
• 10+ years applicable professional experience, largely devoted to information security domains
• 5+ years of RSA Archer experience
• Experience in a senior leadership role in an audit, risk management, governance, IT security and/or compliance function
• Corporate experience as a CISO, Security Leader, or Information Risk Manager
• Experience with control frameworks such as CobiT, NIST, and ISO 2700x
• Good understanding of IT systems security in mainframe and client server environments
• Experience with Security Assessments
• Good project management skills
• Demonstrate success in delivering solutions targeted to business owner expectations both technical and non-technical in nature
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel nationally, to 75%, as required
Helpful/Preferred :
• BS degree in Computer Science, CIS, Information Security or closely related
• RSA Archer Certified Administrator
• Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, PMP, etc.
• Experience with business intelligence and enterprise reporting design and development
• Ability to travel as required
NOTES :
• No third party inquiries ( not open to C2C)
• This is a contract-to-hire position hired on a W-2 basis
• Heavy travel is expected – some element of telecommuting can be included
