Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. Media Box is currently looking to immediately hire a Senior Level Programmer/Technical Director to join our team. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of application and custom integration solutions including new functionality, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code. Only on-site candidates will be considered, no third party or telecommuting responses will be considered.
Duties/Responsibilities
Work with state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches in design, coding, and testing of software.
Communicate and work directly with clients.
Provide leadership for lower-level employees.
Develop and support custom applications.
Direct software programming and development of documentation.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Skills/Knowledge
Understanding of principles of Object Oriented programming
Thorough understanding and experience with XML, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML/CSS, C# and .NET development is required.
Experience working with SQL Server or other relational database system is required.
Experience with Responsive Web Design is preferred.
Experience working with Subversion and/or Git is preferred.
Experience with Android, Objective-C/iOS, PHP and ActionScript development is a plus.
Under limited supervision. Must be able to work independently, as well as with a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, professional office environment.
Must be able to manage time and priorities in order to deliver on time and within budget.
Education/Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years applicable software design engineering experience or progressive programming experience or related work experience.
Project/employee/client management experience is a plus.
Agency and/or courseware development experience is a plus.
Ability to obtain a Secret Level security clearance is required. Active Secret Level security clearance is a plus.
