Join a fast paced regional consulting firm and be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting multiple VDI infrastructures utilizing Xen Desktop, Citrix Provisioning Services, or Machine Creation Services.
This position also requires significant experience in VMWare in support of a VDI infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design, test, and support a VDI infrastructure utilizing Citrix Xen Desktop, Citrix Provisioning Services.
Design, test, and document back-end storage for optimal performance for VDI infrastructure.
Provides planning and technical support for company installations.
Provide assistance to other support groups as necessary with special reference to providing sales support.
Assists in the selection and recommendation of standardized equipment selection.
Stays abreast of new technologies as it applies to business needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
8 to 10 years of experience in the field as a Systems Engineer and 3 to 4 years in the field as a Citrix engineer with focus on XenDesktop and Provisioning Services..
Design and Implementation experience with Citrix Xen Desktop
Design and Implementation experience with Citrix Provisioning Services
Experience with designing a SAN solution for VDI
Design and Implementation experience with Windows Server 2008 R2.
Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
Effectively communicate.
