Development of new generation eCommerce platform Responsibilities Perform ETL development, participate in design and testing of data integration (ETLReal Time) components utilizing established ETL tools and coding standards.
Perform peer reviews of designs, test results and code Perform data analysis with a focus on data quality using data profiling methodologies and tools Perform defectproblem analysis and make recommendations as required Define andor support data model customizations to support data integrationETL processing. Perform appropriate levels of unit, integration and performance testing Supports requirements definition and contributes to documentation of project and system documentation Role with the group ETL Developer Required Skills 7-8 years (hands-on) experience with established ETL or Data Integration tool (Informatica, DataStage, or other ETL tool). Full life-cycle development experience in Data Warehousing and ETLData Integration projects. Understanding of various ETL related concepts such as scheduling, restartrecovery and error handling 5-6 years experience with Data Warehousing Understanding of issues regarding Data quality and how to resolve those issues 2+ years LinuxUnix experience, including scripting, version control (SVN preferred), etc.
Strong understanding of dimensional (starsnowflake) data modeling concepts, SQL, query optimization Experience with various data source types including XML, Messaging, Database and Flat files Experience with Java and Java scripting as part of ETL processing Strong experience with relational database technologies supporting data warehousesBI reporting Excellent written and verbal communicate skills with both technical and non-technical staff BABS in Computer Science, Business Systems or Engineering Desired Skills eCommerce, Retail, Supply Chain Management experience preferred, but not required Selling point of the job Fast paced, high profile client that is booming!
