We are a software company specializing in enterprise technology. We deliver our products, world-class services, customized solutions, and timely support across all sectors of industry. We have a Lead Drupal Developer opening with a home base located at our secured location in Washington DC (metro accessible). You will be the lead Drupal consultant acting as a liaison to our intelligence client in Washington DC. This role will primarily focus on end-to-end design and development of both large and small scale open source applications for a diverse portfolio of federal agency needs.
The ideal candidate will be able to point to a good number of Drupal sites that you’ve developed or made contributions too. You have a strong understanding of design principles, information architecture, interface design patterns, usability best practices, environmental implementation, application documentation, and 508 compliance. You thrive in a fast-paced team environment that requires managing multiple projects. If you are a LAMP programmer with Drupal CMS development experience and a strong desire to build beautiful Drupal websites, then this is the job for you!
What you need for this position:
MS/BS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
3 + years of web based open source development project experience – preferably in a government regulated environment (familiar with 508 Compliant regulations)
Expert knowledge with CMS-driven applications and at least 3 years of Drupal development experience
Confident with PHP/MySQL experience in a sever-level administration CMS-driven sites
Experience in managing LAMP web server using various web-based apps
Understanding of Varnish, Drush, Javascript, HTML/XHTML, CSS, and AJAX
