So, I need someone, a partner basically on the IT side. You’d basically just be installing new RAM, Hard Drives, and operating systems. I’d have to have someone trustworthy as I’d just be GIVING you 5-10 computers at a time, having you refurbish them, I’d list them, you’d meet the customer to make the exchange and take the money, and hope you don’t just disappear with the computers and the cash.
I’ve been looking at storefronts, and have found one that would work perfectly. There are two ways we could do this-
1. Become partners- your investment would be $500 a month, and you’d almost be guaranteed a profit at the end of month one, as I have plenty of inventory.
2. I would give you 5-10 computers at a time, you’d refurbish them, meaning, just installing new hard drives (which I have) and RAM (which I also have) I’d pay you $30 per refurb (which would be equivalent to $30 an hour) and, until I got my storefront opened, I would list the computers on Craigslist, YOU would make the transaction with the customer (me driving back and forth from Wellington to Wichita every day to first pick up the computer from you, pay you, THEN meet up with the customer to make the transaction would just be an unnecessary expense)
With option 2, I’d just have to trust you to not run off with the computers, or the money from the sales when you meet up with the customer.
Also, you wouldn’t be “on call” for me, or the customer. If you’re not available one day to make the transaction, we’d just figure out a day that’s good for you to do the transaction.
We need to be honest with the customers, we can’t be installing hard drives that are about to go out, or whatever. I don’t mind using pirated Operating Systems or programs, as long as they work just as well for the buyer.
If things worked out, and you know how to set up networks, VPN’s, using proxies, etc, maybe we could work out a deal where you do $500 worth of work for me monthly, and that would be your buy in payment.
I’m not hurting for money, so I’ve got the funds to make this work, I just need the talent. As you can see, my marketing abilities have created too much of a demand for me to keep up with alone.
