Job Description

This position will be part of the dedicated HR Advisor team for Western Mountain Regional Banking. You will ensure fair employment practices by serving as an objective and trusted resource to team members and managers consistent with Wells Fargo s Core Values and to cultivate a respectful work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Provide counsel and assistance to team members and all levels of management on employee or management issues.
– Exercise judgment within company policy, practices, precedents and procedures.
– Recommend or take appropriate action to correct problems of moderate scope including assisting and/or advising management in the formal discipline or termination of employees.
– Escalate concerns promptly when appropriate to Employee Relations Consultants (ERCs) for investigation
– Enable team members and managers to resolve issues in their workplace.
– Coach managers to improve communication and address performance issues. Identify and address management/leadership issues and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to correct them
– Guide managers in weighing the risk of corrective actions and terminations so that they can make appropriate and legitimate business decisions.
– Follow up to inspect that action steps are implemented as agreed.
Required to provide telephone consultation and must be comfortable working in a virtual team environment.

WORK LOCATION IS FLEXIBLE.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years experience in employee relations or human resources consulting.

Minimum Qualifications

– 4+ years recent and relevant experience in employee relations or other directly related Human Resource consulting experience required.
– Thorough knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
– Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; compare data and draw appropriate conclusions; identify an effective course of action and develop appropriate solutions.
– Develop, use, and promote collaborative relationships with line of business clients, HR Partners and Team partners.
– Excellent consultative skills, investigative skills, and HR generalist experience.
– Must have strong communication skills – both oral and written.
– Must be highly organized with strong time management skills.
– Able to effectively multi-task in a high paced work environment.

WORK LOCATION IS FLEXIBLE. Must be able to work 8:30AM to 5:30PM Pacific Time.

Preferred Skills

– Familiarity with Wells Fargo company policies and Wells Fargo Community Banking.
– Thorough knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
– Working knowledge of Uniphi, Human Resources Help Desk (HRHD) and Canvas
