Job Description:
Netizen Corporation, a trusted provider of managed IT solutions including cloud computing, cyber security and software development for the government and commercial sectors, is seeking an experienced C# .NET developer. This is a contract-to-hire position.
The responsibilities of this position include developing web-based solutions utilizing C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML/CSS/JavaScript and SharePoint, amongst other similar technologies. A broad-based familiarity with standardized development and testing processes and methodologies is needed. Also, the developer should have intimate knowledge of the latest programming trends and practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
3-5 years of C# .NET web development experience
2-4 years working with SharePoint based solutions, specifically inputting and exporting data to and from SharePoint via APIs and other connections
Experience with a variety of API protocols including ReST, XML-RPC, SOAP and WebSockets
3-5 years utilizing SQL Server for web applications
A Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
Experience integrating disparate data sources into an informative dashboard
Experience with ASP.NET, including ASP.NET MVC
Experience with Entity Framework and Linq or NHibernate
Experience developing dashboard solutions with graphical analytics
Experience developing clean, compliant user interfaces that are compatible with a variety of technologies, devices and browsers
Experience integrating solutions with SAP data a plus
Ability to rapidly prototype web software solutions based on initial client requirements
