The ease or difficulty of removing or installing the rear grilles on our cars is greatly influenced by the type of fasteners used. My favorite is the tall 1/4" head (stovetop) type screws used in various places around the car. The tall head makes it easy to insert them in a 1/4" socket and feed them into the holes across the tops of the grille without dropping them. It also make it easy to install the side fasteners as these will stay in in your side ways socket a lot better than any standard height hex head. A long 1/4 drive socket or reg 1/4 drive socket with short extension work pretty well here...a universal joint in the mix can also be useful. Phillips head screws are annoying particularly if you have no magnetic screwdriver handy. Slotted heads are especially annoying as are screws with heads to big to poke thru the access holes. 5/16 head screws like used in many shroud spots are OK but the tall 1/4 heads are better.
