Both sessions will be taught by Pat Calfee, an outstanding educator, author, and presenter who worked with me to develop the session agendas and materials. Pat is a former 2nd/3rd grade teacher who also served 2 years on the NC State Assistance Team. Before becoming a full-time consultant, she was the Curriculum Specialist/Staff Development Coordinator in Beaufort County, NC. Pat is also the author of the Issy Books series of emergent readers. Here she is with her granddaughter Issy who provided the inspiration for the books and illustrated them. Pat's workshops are exciting and fun, but more than that, they offer practical strategies that will help your students soar to success.
