Meet the CTW Crew
Our staff at Content That Works is small, but we are mighty! The CTW staff is filled with many different experience levels. Some of us have just begun, while others have already made their mark in the media industry. To get to know us a little better, check out our short bios below, outlining each staff member and their unique set of skills!
Stephanie is the Editor of Content That Works and came to the job after 40 years in The Post and Courier’s Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom. She has been a photographer, writer and editor, handling special sections and magazines on everything from sports and business to news and feature-writing. She and her husband Rick love to spend ev enings discussing food, odd news stories and the politics of the day. Stephanie can also be found at the barn at dawn or dusk, riding her paint horse Aspen.
Lauren is the Marketing Coordinator for Content That Works and joined our team in July. She has had a fulfilling career so far and has embraced the ever-changing field of marketing. She has worked in advertising at an agency as well as education, teaching on the college level. She is passionate about teaching and guiding people to achieve their potential. She earned a degree in marketing from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and live music events.
Jaraya is the Content Coordinator of Content That Works. She recently joined our team in September and has been eager to jump into her first job post-college. She graduated from Winthrop University in May with her degree in Mass Communication and minor in English. After leading her school’s minority-based newspaper as editor-in-chief, Jaraya was able to transition into this role to continue doing what she loves most, editing and writing. She enjoys reading, writing, singing and, nightly, watching episodes of The Young and the Restless with her mom (who is a die-hard Y&R fan).
Kristin is a Sales Specialist with Content That Works. She has worked in media sales since 2007. Kristin received her degree in Journalism with a concentration in Advertising from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. Recently joining the CTW team in November, Kristin is dedicated and has jumped right into her work learning the ropes as quickly as she can. She and her husband live in Summerville with their two boys. She enjoys playing outside with her boys, going to the beach, reading and baking.
