Dear Sir,
I had joined a company as a fresher was asked to open an HDFC salary account with no in detail understanding about DEMAT account and neither the HDFC guys told anything about the same. As a customer I should be made aware of what type of account is being opened along with salary account. After 6 months I went to a nearby HDFC branch and submitted the closure forms to all HDFC accounts. And now after 1 year i get an email and SMS to pay Rs.842.7 due for using DEMAT account.
1)How is this even possible after closing all my HDFC account?
2)I have neither given my consent to open HDFC DEMAT account nor used any of its services.
3)This is not only with me. I did research on internet and found out that there are many people who are suffering from same issue. This is HDFC one of business tactics to make money i suppose.
4)I ask this to be taken as a serious matter and ask HDFC to discontinue such kind of malpractice.
