Consultis, a premier Technical Recruiting Services Company with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for a PHP Developer for a Direct Permanent Hire opportunity (FTE) with our Central Florida based client.
Position Overview:
-This is a full-time multipurpose position, which will work with our technology team to develop high quality websites, custom plugin development, database processes, and web applications. The ideal candidate will have work experience as a Web/PHP/MySQL Developer.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
-Manage, maintain, and extend highly scalable enterprise web applications.
-Build and maintain high-traffic web sites with the L.A.M.P. stack (Linux, Apache 2, MySQL 5, and PHP 5).
-Ability to develop, test, and debug PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
-Use basic DBA skills (maintenance, backup, restore, optimization).
-Design, develop, and support API configurations.
-Web server administration / performance tuning; caching? is a plus.
-Manage, maintain, and extend intranet applications used by customer service.
-Demonstrate understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) and object oriented concepts and design patterns.
-Develop web applications within Zend framework.
-Query MySQL databases (inner/outer joins, views).
-Demonstrate understanding of source code control methology and familiarity with source code control and/or versioning management systems such as SVN.
-Build Wordpress plugins to extend CMS functionality.
-Contribute to other programming projects and teams.
-Other duties related to the development and operation of our systems.
-Other duties as required by management.
Required Qualification or Skills:
-L.A.M.P. stack experience. Presentation Layer experience - HTML, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax. Wordpress frame work and HTML 5 a plus.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a Design discipline or equivalent experience.
-2-5 years of demonstrated programming experience.
-Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes.
