Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified consultants to deliver programs to K-12 grades in support of the Saving Water Partnership’s (SWP) regional water conservation program. Additional work includes marketing, evaluation, project management, and potentially curriculum development. The programs are 45-55 minutes long and the majority are conducted in classrooms, although some may be conducted at natural areas on school property.

The SWP is a collaboration of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) and 18 water utility partners that purchase water from Seattle. The SWP service area consists of the following school districts: Highline, Renton, Mercer Island, Northshore, Seattle, Shoreline, as well as parts of Riverview, Tahoma, Lake Washington, Kent, Tukwila, and Edmonds school districts. This is a 5-year contract beginning January 1, 2017. Value of the contract will be approximately $400,000.
