Greetings,

One of the biggest reasons we don’t reach our goals is a lack of vision. The best CEOs, entrepreneurs and leaders have set their vision and are continually working toward hitting the mark.

Without a vision, we flounder. We take random steps and work on many different projects without clarity on where we want to go. We can’t figure out the most important next steps because we don’t know which staircase we’re climbing.

With a vision, we know we want to reach point B—not A or C. We can more easily determine each day which tasks will help us reach point B. We can weed out the tasks that lead to points A and C.

With a vision, we make better decisions and spend our time more wisely—we achieve our aspirations.

This month we’ll create our vision. Each week we’ll focus on a couple questions to gain clarity and pave the way for our clear success.

This week, in preparation for setting our vision, let’s contemplate these words from one of my mentors Rob White (check him out here):

“Most folks exist absent-mindedly; they lack focus. And focus is the key to fulfilling on one’s desired destiny. The opportunity is here, waiting for every one of us to act accordingly, so that we may create our lives as we want them to be. The situation is here, awaiting our response, so our future may unfold as we want it to be. BUT, most folks aren’t here mentally. To be aware of the absence of mental focus is to begin the journey toward manifestation of one’s treasured dreams and aspirations.”
