ANA GABRIELA PESSOA – PEARSON BRASIL

Indicated as Global Leader younger by the World Economic Forum, has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a graduate degree in education policy from Harvard, as a “Lemann felow” and Project Management from FGV. She also worked on two other major education companies before investing in your own company, Ezlearn, an online English school, which sold for Multi Group in August 2013. In 2014, he took over as Head of Product and Innovation Pearson in Brazil.

Is a young entrepreneur worried to create and develop technological social solutions, like the CIS Transport and the Urban3D (3D printer to build low cost residences). AYRTON FERREIRA DO AMARAL FILHO – VOLVO

Works for 30 years in the automotive sector, 25 years of them at Volvo Brazil, managing several bussiness areas.  He participated in the implementation of the main projects of BRT in South America. Is one of the authors of the book Mobilidade Inteligente (Inteligent Mobility), printed by Volvo. He is currently the executive responsable for the Urban Mobility Program in Volvo Bus Latin America.

More than 35 years of experience in the healthcare market as Municipal Secretary of Health (Santa Barbara West), the regional implementation of the SUS Card Responsible, President of Prevsaúde / Need PBM market development in Brazil- – Director of the Santa Casa de Santos.

CARLOS EVANGELISTA – VIS TECHNOLOGY

Operates in the Energy sector and Telecom for over 15 years where he worked in the direction of global companies like Ericsson Telecommunications, Emerson Energy, Avaya and as General Manager of Leuze Electronic Brazil. He is currently CEO of VIS Technology, which specializes in projects and enterprises with Photovoltaic Solar Energy. Leads strategic foresight through the RICS Futures programme that started in 2010. He has just completed a Futures report titled “Our changing world: let’s be ready” that looks at the major drivers and trends impacting the skills the surveying profession will need for the future. Daniel first joined RICS in 2008 working in a number of corporate affairs and policy roles.

Elias is responsible for the international segment of the Public Sector Industry in Brazil, working on projects with funding from multilateral organizations. Emerson Souza is Senior Director of Sales, Marketing and Delivery of Itron for Latin America. Emerson began his career in 1991 by joining Schlumberger, later migrating to Actaris and joining Itron in 2007 as Sales Manager responsible for the introduction of static meters in substitution of the old electromechanical technology. Emerson devoted his entire career to the metering industry and more recently, to the SmartGrid and SmartCity solutions, working closely with the utilities and government in order to develop the industry and allow a faster adoption of technology in Latin American. Recently, Emerson discussed the role of intelligent technologies in hyper- urbanization during the global conference ” Discovering Global Markets : Sustainable Solutions 2015 ” , organized by the US Commercial Service. Emerson has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Paulista and an MBA in Financial Management and Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

ERIKA CRISTINE KNEIB - PROJETO E CIDADE: CENTRALIDADES E MOBILIDADE URBANA

Urbanist architect and PhD in Transports, researched urban mobility for the pos doctorate. Is a teacher and researcher at the Federal University of Goiás. Investigates themes related to the urban mobility and the urban and transportation planning and writes about it on books and different national and international articles.

Possui mestrado e é doutorando pelo CIN-UFPE, com pesquisas em áreas relacionados a Segurança da Informação e Arquitetura de Software. Ultimamente seu maior foco tem sido na proposta, definição e criação de arquiteturas com foco em segurança da informação para Cidades Inteligentes, nos últimos anos ele publicou uma dúzia de artigos e estudos nessa área. É Engenheiro de Sistemas Sênior do CESAR onde ele tem trabalho em projetos com alto grau de inovação, há pelo menos 10 anos. Ele também é fundador do capítulo da OWASP de recife e foi o primeiro sul americano a obter a certificação da GIAC em Segurança de dispositivos móveis.

LADISLAU DOWBOR – PROFESSOR AT PUC-SP

Arraes was the first President of CDURP, responsible for Porto Maravilha project. In 2013, became Under Secretary for Strategic Projects, Public Service Concessions, and Public-Private Partnerships. Is the Municipal Secretary of Education of Florianopolis. Is also a teacher and titular member of the state council of education. Was president for the Latin america and Caribe for Global University Network for Innovation. Was also Minister of Education, Executive Secretary of MEC and president of Capes. He received many awards like the Merit for Education and Judiciary in Santa Catarina, Doutor Honoris Causa from Universidade Federal of Roraima, medal João David Ferreira Lima.

SELMA MIGLIORI – ABESE

President of ABESE (Associação Brasileira das Empresas de Sistemas Eletrônicos de Segurança – Brazilian Association of Electronic Security Companies) has enhanced the segment significantly by promoting its organization, professionalization and regulation. Her work in the entity was fundamental for the creation of CCPA – Centro de Capacitação Profissional ABESE (professional training center), the ABESE Seal and Fenabese (Federação Interestadual das Empresas de Sistemas Eletrônicos de Segurança – Interstate Federation of Electronic Security Companies), where she was also elected president. She graduated as an electronic engineer at Escola de Engenharia Mauá (Mauá Engineering School) in Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia  (Mauá Technology Institute).

SÉRGIO PAULO GALLINDO – BRASSCOM

Is a layer with masters degree in Politic and Economic Law at Universidade Mackenzie. Is master in Computation Science by the University of Texas at Austin, EUA, graduated in Law by Universisty of São Paulo and is an Eletronic Engineer by UFRJ. Was president director of the British Telecom in Brazil, member of the Brasscom Administration Council, CP of Nortel in Brazil and Executive Director of GVT.

SÉRGIO TAKEO KOFUJI – USP

Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Coordinator of the PAD Group of the Laboratory of Integrated Systems. Prof. Kofuji has experience in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, with an emphasis on Advanced Computer Architectures, acting on the following topics: Pervasive Computing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Grid and Cloud Computing, Parallel Processing, Processor Architecture, Reconfigurable Architecture, Cyber-Physical Embedded Systems, UWB radar applications, Advanced Imaging Systems. He is the Coordinator at USP of the European FP7 EDOBRA Project.

SHARON KINDLEYSIDES - KAPSCH TRAFFICCOM

Has a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and an MBA and has worked in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) for over twelve years. She has been involved in a number of large scale, ITS,ETC and ATMS  projects and was the Chairman of the ITS UK and is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology’s Transport Policy Panel. She is a signatory to the CEO Charter for Women in Science, Engineering and Technology and a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Diversity Leadership Group.
