Pretty early this morning (7:30AM EST), metal band Avenged Sevenfold released their newest video, “Hail to the King”, directed by Syndrome. “Hail to the King” is also the title of their upcoming album, to be released on the 27th of August.
This video is halfway between a story and a performance as you can see both; the first thing that struck me with this video is the aesthetic, much different of their older stuff. The style is more clean and mature, even the more than the Nightmare era where most of the videos had a gloomy tone (understandable, as it was just after the passing of Jimmy “The Rev”).
